ATTN Flash designers & Actionscripters: Flash page transitions?
I’m an intermediate Flash designer having trouble undarstanding how to code a proper page transition.
I have a home page which has a slightly different layout from my other pages. So when someone clicks off the landing page I’d like to transition into the design of the other pages.
I know how to create a gotoandPlay function so that I could go from home to another page. But in how do I do it so that the transition ONLY occurs on that kind of event (i.e. home to about page). So if for instance someone’s going from the about to contact page, I don’t want the transition to play since its design is the same.
And in going from the about page back to the home page, I’d like to transition back to the home page design.
Thanks in advance. 10 points to the best (and working) answer! A link to a good tutorial would be fine.
