How to get rid of unwanted advertising on my home page?

Does anyone know a way to get rid of unwanted advertising pop up on my AT&T Yahoo home page? It seems they made some server change or what ever that ( as of 12/19/06 ) now puts an advertising square next to my today section and just above my quick pick section on my home page and I realy realy realy **** it. Running my cursor around to quickly has allready landed me in this netflix/chillies/ etc block several times now .

Improve search engine ranking
Sorry, you can’t remove or hide advertising on the home page. It’s how Yahoo! makes money.
