I have edited my original answer from an hour ago. It was sarcastic, and I now realize that the asker must be new to ebay and selling in general. I hope that this edited message is more helpful.
Hi Christina,
It appears that you are new to ebay. I am worried that you have overpriced your items by a large amount.
Derby regularly sells on ebay for 99 cents. Your starting amount of $350.00 will attract few or no legitimate bidders.
Bubbles. Your starting bid – $145.00. Average selling price for other auctions – 99 cents.
Tabasco. You start at $280.00. This one actually pulls a bit more than the beanie baby average, often selling for $5.00.
And Ally. You start the bidding at $75.00. These average $2.00 for complete auctions.
All this, with your ebay ranking of zero means that you will very likely have no real bids. I am afraid that you have thrown away your ebay fees.
Perhaps you can do some research next time, and find what these are selling for on real markets. I do not know how you chose the starting prices, but I feel that they are way out of range. Where did you get those values? The few price lists for beanies that I have seen grossly overrate and are out of date.
And you should also be made aware that the Yahoo! Answers forums are not an appropriate place for unsolicited marketing messages like yours. That constitutes spam, and is usually deleted in short order.
Good luck!
Another edit:
I see that you have dropped the opening bids on those auctions. $100.00 for Derby and $75.00 for the rest. that is a step in the right direction, but I seriously doubt that anyone will pay more than the prices I listed above.
Derby – $1.00
Bubbles – $1.00
Tabasco – $2.00 up to $5.00
Ally – $2.00
I hope you do well with your auctions. But I am afraid that you have latched on to some very misleading information from whichever price guide you used.
Again, good luck!
